The upshot of Tuesday's Public Workshop on Developing the Fiscal Year 2021-22 Funding Plan for Clean Transportation Incentives is that the Clean Vehicle Rebate Program rebates are ending in approximately 30-60 days. Rebates for low and moderate income consumers will last longer. This year there will be no wait list as there is
no further funding in sight for this year or next.
If you recently purchased a vehicle that qualifies for CVRP, we recommend that you submit your request ASAP.
Note that the California $1500 point of sale incentive is not affected by this and will continue.
